Safety and hydrogen: information for emergency services
With an increasingly widespread use of hydrogen, safety services need to know well how to manage risk management and how to respond to hydrogen incidents.
WVIP (work package 2) provides the products so that everyone working with hydrogen has the information to do the job safely and adequately.
To this end, a “Risk Management and Incident Response Table” (only available in Dutch) has been developed that describes the various measures for each type of incident. A ‘Hydrogen Attention Card’ briefly and clearly shows the adequate response for emergency responders and is designed to provide the relevant information inside the fire truck.
